Karen Schlemmer has been teaching for ten years. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from U.C. Santa Barbara and her teaching credential from California Lutheran University. She has lived in Ventura County her whole life. She has been married for 11 years to a husband who loves to surf. She has 3 children who attend CAPE and also love to surf. Her favorite activities are reading, walking and spending time with her family. She has a huge passion for middle school students, and is looking forward to teaching your middle schooler!
